Genevieve De Weever School faced Hillside Christian in the ongoing St. Maarten Little League RBC School Baseball and Softball Tournaments at the Stadium on Pond Island Monday. Hillside won 10-9. In other games, Friday Ruby Labega blasted Sister Borgia School 15-4. Saturday in the girl’s primary school competition Catholic Schools squeezed Past Public Schools 15-14, and Rubies Mixed pounded MAC Diamonds 16-7. In High School Softball Tigers bested Doves 13-12 and Eagles soared past Hawks 9-4.Sunday in the boy’s high school division Mixed School defeated PSVE 7-6 and Vocational School beat Sundial 16-7. Action continues this afternoon as Ruby Labega takes on Sister Borgia. First pitch is set for 3:45pm.
