Dear Editor,
Please allow me the opportunity to vent my frustrations. I'll make it short and simple. Why in heaven’s name do we have to make an appointment to make an ID at the island Receiver’s Office? And why does it take so long to receive that ID? This is completely backwards and not to mention slows down progress.
This seems like a case of laziness and incompetence to me. Come up with a system that's efficient and actually works. Come on! I know you guys can do better. If not hire me. I've got some amazing ideas.
People getting appointments for March and April 2018 for ID's? I call that total and outright bull. If that's the case, hand over the machine to the IND and they can issue out ID's. Isn't that a much better solution?
As for SVB, the situation that took place there was long in the making. When you are dealing with people that are sick and are looking for help and answers, a little compassion and understanding goes a very long way.
If you don't want to pick up the speed and help people get in and out of your face, get people who are willing to come in and help. I suggest getting some nurses that are also good with administration to help better the situation at SVB.
Health care needs an urgent overhaul. The people are tired. We are taxpayers and we deserve better. This is unacceptable and downright disgusting. Get it together!
Let's all adopt forward-thinking mentalities to help push SXM to the final frontier. Let's be cutting edge!
