PHILIPSBURG--Juvenile Department detectives are investigating a serious case of ill-treatment among juveniles. The incident took place in St. Peters on Saturday, November 25, when a sixteen-year-old-boy using a BB-gun fired several shots at another teenage boy, hitting him at least three times.
The victim was riding his bicycle, according to police. He was taken to St. Maarten Medical Center to be treated for his wounds.
The reason for this shooting is still under investigation. The suspect has been arrested and remains in custody for questioning and further investigation.
