Young man killed in French Quarter scooter accident

 MARIGOT—A young man was killed on the RN7 between Orient Bay and French Quarter late Tuesday morning after his scooter collided head on with a delivery truck.

  Bystanders named the victim as Christopher “Tough Head” Glasgow, (25), resident of French Quarter.

  The Gendarmerie Captain Arnaud Gerard on the scene explained the victim was travelling in the direction of French Quarter overtaking vehicles at speed before he struck an ice delivery truck that was turning left into the car park of the Golden Star Supermarket.

 Capitaine Gerard added the victim was riding a T-Max scooter and there was no evidence he was wearing a helmet. It was understood the victim died instantly.
