Miss 2019 Senior Carnival Queen D’shnay Mathew York and Miss 2019 Mature Carnival Queen Anastatia Peters with Anna Rabess-Richardson of Posh Productions on Tuesday.
PHILIPSBURG--Posh Productions’ Miss Mature and Senior Queen pageants saw a turnout of supporters and pageant-lovers to Carnival Village on Tuesday evening. D’shnay Mathew York was crowned Senior Carnival Queen while Anastatia Peters took home the title of Miss Mature.
Joanni Fuentes came out first runner-up while Juli-Ann Richardson came out second runner-up in the Senior Queen competition. York recently signed up to take part in the show after two contestants could no longer participate in the show.
Peters was able to outscore four ladies in her Mature segment on Tuesday.
Posh Productions continues its goal to provide and promote wholesome entertainment in the areas of fashion, arts, music, theatre, pageantry and all other forms of community enhancement events. The team put together a high calibre event.
The objectives of Posh include assisting and strengthening the entertainment and tourism industry of St. Maarten through highlighting its cultural heritage and natural talents with promotional packages and advertisements that will draw participants, spectators and viewers both locally and regionally.
The queens will be representing the island abroad in several upcoming international pageants.
