More than 50 vehicle wrecks were collected and crushed in last week’s vehicle wreck clean-up carried out in Cul de Sac by the Ministry of Public Housing, Environment, Spatial Development and Infrastructure (VROMI), in collaboration with the Community Police Officers (CPOs). Some 100 wrecks have been collected since the project started a month ago. The project also removed illegally parked vehicles from public roadsides. Residents are urged by the Ministry to remove all vehicle wrecks. Failure to remove vehicles with unpaid road tax and outdated inspection, as well as abandoned vehicles, or those that are hazardous to public safety will be removed upon notice and crushed by the Ministry.
