Winair cancels flights today

 

 PHILIPSBURG--Winair’s flight schedule will be affected due to the passing Tropical Storm Karen, said Windward Islands Airways International Winair on Tuesday morning.

  Winair cancelled flight WM2803 from St. Maarten to Bonaire and Curaçao, WM2804 from Curaçao to Bonaire and St. Maarten, WM805 from Aruba to Curaçao and St. Maarten, and WM806 from St. Maarten to Curaçao and Aruba.

  Weather conditions also affected flights between Saba and St. Maarten, with flights WM401, 402, 511, 435, 441 and 442 being cancelled.

  Flights WM045 and 046 between St. Maarten and Tortola were also cancelled on Tuesday.

  “Winair will continue to closely monitor the weather conditions and will update this advisory as changes occur,” said the airline.

  Winair also said its storm policy is in effect and passengers will be accommodated on the next available flights without penalties or fees. Persons are asked to contact Winair’s St. Maarten call centre via tel. no. 1-721-545-4237 or its Curaçao sales office at tel. no. 599-9-839-1172 for booking changes.
