Winair adds another jet flight to Curaçao

Winair office

AIRPORT--Winair announced on Thursday that an additional jet air service St. Maarten-Curaçao-St. Maarten will be added to its current flight roster. This flight will operate every Thursday in addition to the existing two jet flights currently offered by Winair on Tuesdays and Saturdays. This third jet service will commence Thursday, August 17, departing Princess Juliana International Airport SXM at 11:00am and will offer customers in Curaçao and St. Maarten another travel option on the existing route. Scheduled departure and arrival times are: leaving SXM 11:00am, arriving CUR 12:35pm; leaving CUR 2:00pm arriving SXM3:35pm.

The airline said reaction to and acceptance of Winair jet services to Curaçao and Haiti has been positive, allowing this additional service to begin. There remains customer dissatisfaction with the current level of service offered to customers traveling this route.

This flight will originate in St. Maarten and operate directly to Curaçao. This third weekly flight is made possible through the joint venture between Winair and PAWA as the airlines move forward to cooperate in the region, making air traffic more efficient and offering their mutual customers more and better options. Customers can contact their favourite travel agent or visit the airline’s newly redesigned web page

www.fly-winair.sx to make bookings on this new service and all Winair flights. “We are very pleased to offer this additional service. By adding this frequency it provides our customers more convenient, safe and fast travel options. This new jet service will also allow connections with our entire route network in the region,” stated Winair President and CEO Michael Cleaver on Thursday.
