Minister reaches out

Julianne Robert and Omari Philips are students currently placed in the Business Outreach and Placement Programme (BOPP) organised by the Department of Youth. They are working at the Department of Communications DComm for the allotted time of the programme. They met with Minister of Education and Youth Silveria Jacobs on Wednesday after the weekly Council of Ministers press briefing. Minister Jacobs was excited to encounter them and expressed words of encouragement and good wishes for the duration of the programme and for the continuation of their education. She also hopes the work experience inspires all students to continue pushing for excellence during the new school year and throughout their lives. The BOPP is in its 19th year of operation and runs from July 10 through August 4.
