ST. EUSTATIUS--Residents of St. Eustatius must live with water rationing until further notice due to a major leak in town. Water will be available daily from 5:00 to 8:00am and 5:00 to 8:00pm.
St. Eustatius Utility Company STUCO workers have repaired the leak discovered on Friday. They worked late into Friday night to put the water main back into service. However, water rationing is in effect because the company is unsure how much water was lost and needs time to replenish stocks.
Stuco urged the public to have patience and to conserve water.
