Aruba Member of Parliament (MP) Sue-Ann Ras of MEP announced her retirement from active politics after she was caught watching Netflix during a session of the Dutch Parliament’s First Chamber.
She had been in The Hague for the Inter-Parliamentary Consultation of the Kingdom IPKO and decided to watch an episode of the series ‘Designated Survivor’ on her laptop as the meeting was ending. Ras later apologised and decided to make her seat available to the party of Prime Minister Evelyn Wever-Croes.
