A man reportedly lost consciousness while driving on Walter J. Nisbeth Road near Subway Restaurant on Wednesday afternoon.
Friends were trying to wake the man, but he did not respond to any calls. The Ambulance Department was contacted to assist, arrived on the scene 20 minutes later and rushed the unconscious man to the hospital after several attempts to revive him. Reports indicate that the man died later on Wednesday at St. Maarten Medical Center's Emergency Room. No official word has been received from police on the man’s condition, but a family member informed The Daily Herald of his passing. (Andrew Dick photo)
