Two more ministers sworn in Thursday

PHILIPSBURG--Governor Eugene Holiday administered the oath of office to two new Ministers for the Silveria Jacobs cabinet on Thursday.

  Sworn in were Pamela Gordon-Lake as Minister of Public Health, Social Development and Labour VSA, and Melissa Arrindell-Doncher who returns as Minister of Tourism, Economic Affairs, Transport and Telecommunication (TEATT), a position she held in the William Marlin Cabinet in 2017.

  Arrindell-Doncher takes over the helm from former interim TEATT Minister Rene Violenus, who will be moving to the Netherlands to assume the position of Minister Plenipotentiary.

  The two new Ministers join the Silveria Jacobs cabinet which comprises Jacobs as Prime Minister and Minister of General Affairs; Christopher Wever as Minister of Public Housing, Spatial Planning, Environment and Infrastructure VROMI; Ardwell Irion as Minister of Finance and Acting Minister of Education, Culture, Youth and Sport (ECYS); and Egbert Jurendy Doran as Minister of Justice.
