STUCO announces water rationing on St. Eustatius

ST. EUSTATIUS--St. Eustatius Utility Company Stuco is currently rationing the supply of drinking water on the island. The water will be turned on Wednesday from 5:00am to 8:00am and again from 5:00pm to 8:00pm.

Stuco extended their apologies for any inconvenience this may cause but did not provide an explanation for the shortage in water.

The water rationing also occurred on Tuesday afternoon, when the taps were only running from 5:00 until 8:00pm.

Bethel Methodist School was forced to close their doors Tuesday at 12:30pm due to the cut in water delivery by Stuco, as well as their in-house system malfunctioning. The School announced that classes will resume today, Wednesday, at 7:25am.
