Works on the sewage lines connection on St. Peters Road were completed on Monday evening. Motorists will be allowed to use the street as of midday today, Tuesday. Contractor Designers Choice had complications in connecting the lines in the beginning due to how the bridge on the street was constructed, but thanks to one of the landowners in the area some 70 homes are connected to the main sewage lines located on L.B. Scott Road.
Minister of Public Housing, Spatial Planning, Environment and Infrastructure VROMI Christophe Emmanuel was at the worksite on Monday evening making sure the road was ready to be opened today. He also thanked residents of St. Peters for their patience during the upgrading.
