MARIGOT--St. Maarten South Leo Club hosted its first domino tournament last week Saturday. Six teams were invited to compete while onlookers enjoyed some food and drinks.

Dominos are a pastime in St. Maarten, so the Leos set out to provide a day of fellowship in early celebration of St. Maarten Day. The day kicked off with the welcoming of the teams and other guests at 11:00am. The games commenced and all players definitely had brought their A-game.

In the end, the Public Works team claimed the champion title. The players on this team were Alvin Andree Daniel, Belto Richardson, Humphrey Guy and Victor Samuel.

Second place went to the House of Detention team, who definitely gave Public Works a run for their money.

South Leo Club thanked all participants and visitors for their sportsmanship and support for the club’s projects and initiatives.
