Sister Basilia costumes

Recently crowned Miss Mature Carnival Queen 2017-2018 Michelline Hunte presented 30 Carnival costumes to Sister Basilia Centre clients on Tuesday. The Centre is scheduled to host a Carnival parade for the clients around the St. Johns area this week and they will have the opportunity to showcase the costumes. “I am happy that I was able to present the costumes to the clients, because artistic activity is extremely important and is part of expressive therapy also known as expressive arts therapy or creative arts therapy,” said Hunte in her statement. She thanked lead designer De-Angelo Butler of Creative Designs for designing the costumes and SDI Tours for providing them.
