MARIGOT--As promised by the French-side Carnival committee (FCDSM) the 2017 Senior Carnival Queen Shaïna Galvani received her brand new Hyundai I10 on Thursday.
One month ago, Shaïna Galvani (21) was crowned Miss Senior Carnival Queen. She also won the titles of Best Carnival Costume, Best performance in Carnival Costume, Best Evening wear, Best Interview, Best Cultural Wear, Best Creative Swimwear, Best Creative recycle wear, Miss Popularity, Miss Social Media and Miss Photogenic.
“With the help of Euphoria, the Carnival committee was able to bring back this pageant to the Carnival scene for 2017,” FCDSM stated in a release. “Last September, FCDSM signed an agreement with Euphoria for which they outsourced the pageant to this new team of professionals and experienced members in the field.
“FCDSM would like to thank their sponsors: Hot Look, Exofor, Quickly Car Rental and Motorworld who have been very instrumental with their significant contributions to make this prize available for the Carnival Queen.
“This is a first for the Carnival committee and in the history of Carnival queen pageants on the French side that the winner was promised a brand new car. Both committees are very proud of this new collaboration and hope they will continue to get the support of businesses in order to guarantee the continuity of more editions.”
