CUL DE SAC--Sister Basilia Center celebrated another milestone with the fiftieth birthday of Rodrine Bertin-Maurice. Like her peer Franklin who celebrated his sixtieth birthday on Monday, Bertin-Maurice has beaten the odds as a person who has Down’s syndrome to reach the “Golden Years”.
Bertin-Maurice enjoyed her day filled with fun activities, delicious treats and dancing to beats, while surrounded by family, friends and staff of the Sister Basilia Center.
