Work to reinforce the bank and install guardrails on the drainage channel in Cripple Gate will take place from September 12 to September 20 between 9:30am and 2:30pm.
Traffic lights will be used to control the traffic. Heavy rains at the end of July caused part of the bank to collapse into the channel, causing a dangerous situation for motorists. In the meantime, temporary barriers have been installed to keep cars at a safe distance.
