Rallying the voters

Legalising marijuana, the realisation of a drag strip for St. Maarten, and protection of animals were amongst the issues raised during United St. Maarten Party’s (US Party’s) first public meeting in the run-up to the 2020 election, in Cole Bay on Monday evening.

The party’s candidates addressed the audience giving insight into what the party will bring to the table if re-elected to office. In photo: US Party leader Frans Richardson, with some of the candidates in the background.
