ST. EUSTATIUS--Contestants are sought for the Junior Carnival Queen/Little Miss Statia pageant for Carnival 2018.
Girls ages 8-12 are eligible to participate in the pageant. Registration for the pageant closes on April 25. Sign-up can be done via the Junior Queen Show team members or teacher Christina “Kriss” Timber.
Organiser Sherees Timber said this year’s pageant will be twice as grand, a whole lot of fun and excitement, as it was last year.
The chosen Little Miss Statia will be an ambassador for the island.
Reigning Queen Cathryn Sanchez was very active. One highlight for her was meeting King Willem-Alexander and Queen Máxima during their last visit to the island.
