ANGUILLA--Young persons in Anguilla have an opportunity to start or improve their business through the Get Set Entrepreneurial Programme.

It was launched on Monday, April 9, through collaboration of the Anguilla Youth Business Foundation (AYBF) and the Department of Youth and Culture.

The Programme targets young persons between the ages of 18 and 35 and offers business development training, business plan development services, business mentorship and start-up funding.

An important component of the programme is the Achievement Motivation and Enterprise Development Training offered to potential entrepreneurs who sign on to the programme each year. Training for the programme will run from April 9 to 25 and will see 24 clients engaging with expert facilitators covering business-related topics. These include enterprise development, product development, business modelling and planning, market strategy, business law, accounting for small businesses and customer service.

The AYBF is a business service organisation established by the Department of Youth and Culture and the Anguilla National Youth Council (ANYC), under the Anguilla Foundation Act, to provide business development and support services to young people residing in Anguilla.
