Senior Carnival Queen Shanice Powell arrived back on the island on Monday after spending the weekend in Antigua for the 56th Miss Jaycees Queen show. The theme this year was “Nature’s Beauties, A Celebration of the Environment.” Powell did not place in the top five, but did impress pageant-goers with her professionalism and appealing charisma. Director of Tourism Rolando Brison and Posh Productions Chief Executive Officer Ana Rabess-Richardson welcomed Powell and her chaperone Paula Gordon. The team thanked all those who supported her and will immediately start preparing for the annual Miss Culture Caribbean Queen in Nevis next month.
