This afternoon through Saturday midday: Generally cloudy with scattered showers and a chance of isolated thunderstorms.

SURFACE WINDS:

This afternoon through Saturday midday: Northeast to east-southeast with a light to moderate breeze of 06 to 14 mph.

 

SYNOPSIS:

Low-level moisture drifting in from the north will cause cloudy skies, along with higher chances of showers and possible isolated thunderstorms during this forecast period. Meanwhile, the Atlantic high-pressure system will maintain mostly gentle winds across the region.

 

Long-period northerly swells and increased wave heights will continue to affect local waters during the next few of days. Hence, High Surf and Small Craft Advisories are in effect. Small craft operators and sea-bathers are advised to exercise extreme caution.
