SYNOPSIS:
A strengthened Atlantic high pressure system will generate mostly moderate winds across the region. Patches of moisture from an old frontal boundary, combined with patches of low-level clouds drifting in the wind flow will cause cloudy periods and isolated showers during this forecast period.
Increased wave heights and long-period swells will affect local waters during the next couple of days. Hence, High Surf and Small Craft Advisories will remain in effect until further notice. Small craft operators and sea-bathers are advised to exercise extreme caution.
