SYNOPSIS: 
Southeasterly winds generated by the Atlantic high pressure system will continue to transport pockets of moisture over the local area and trigger isolated showers. Additionally, a pre-frontal trough approaching the region from the northwest will increase moisture and instability and account for an increase in shower activity over St. Maarten as time progress.

Moderate seas with waves peaking near 7 feet can be expected for the next few days. Small craft operators and sea bathers should exercise caution.
