Tonight through Saturday midday: Partly cloudy, hazy and breezy with local showers possible.

This afternoon through Saturday midday: Easterly with a moderate to fresh breeze of 14 to 22 mph and higher gusts.

SYNOPSIS:  

An area of moisture stretching across the local region will cause isolated showers through the afternoon. Thereafter, a drier and more stable atmosphere will restrict precipitation.

A small craft advisory remains in effect for St. Maarten due to above-normal seas and gusty winds. Small craft operators and sea bathers should exercise caution.
