A moist and unstable atmosphere will maintain cloudiness with isolated showers tonight. A drier and more stable air is expected to spread across the northeastern Caribbean from tomorrow. Consequently weather conditions will improve across the local area. However, an influx of Saharan dust will produce hazy skies.
Marine conditions will subside with decreasing winds. As a result, a small craft advisory will remain in effect until tomorrow morning. Small Craft operators and sea bathers should continue exercising caution.
STATE OF THE SEA: Moderate to Rough WAVES/SWELLS: 6 to 8 feet
SPECIAL FEATURE:

Strengthening is expected from tonight and tropical Storm Chris is expected to become a hurricane tomorrow.
This system does not pose a threat to St. Maarten.
