Forecast High: 28°C / 82°F
Forecast Low: 23°C / 73°F

SURFACE WINDS:
This afternoon through Friday midday: East-northeast with a moderate to strong breeze of 12 to 22 miles per hour and occasional gusts.
SYNOPSIS:
The dominant Atlantic high pressure system is generating brisk winds that will account for hazardous sea conditions. A relatively drier air mass is restricting precipitation over the local area. However, lingering moisture from the recent frontal boundary may cause periodic cloudiness and isolated showers particularly during the latter part of this forecast period.
Hazardous sea conditions are expected to continue through the next couple of days, therefore a small craft warning remains in effect for St. Maarten. Sea bathers and occupants of small crafts are urged to stay on shore to prevent personal injury or material damage.
STATE OF THE SEA: Rough to very rough
WAVES/SWELLS: 9 to 12 feet
SPECIAL FEATURE: None.
OUTLOOK through Saturday midday: Partly cloudy and breezy with isolated showers.
FORECASTER: Connor
