WEATHER:   This afternoon through Friday midday: Partly cloudy and breezy with a few passing showers possible.

SURFACE WINDS:  This afternoon through Friday midday: Easterly to east southeasterly with a gentle to fresh breeze of 10 to 20 mph.

SYNOPSIS:  

Available moisture at the lower level of the atmosphere may cause a few isolated showers across the region. The Atlantic high pressure system will maintain mostly brisk easterly winds.  

An increase in wind speed and easterly swells will cause a deterioration of seas tonight. Small craft operators and sea bathers should exercise caution.

 

STATE OF THE SEA: Moderate to Rough   WAVES/SWELLS: 6 to 8 feet
