SYNOPSIS:
A more stable, Saharan dust laden air mass is moving into the region. As a result, significant precipitation will be restricted. Nevertheless, brief local showers can still occur across the forecast area, particularly during the overnight hours.
Seas will remain moderate for the next several days. Small craft operators and sea-bathers should continue exercising caution.

STATE OF THE SEA: Moderate WAVES/SWELLS: 5 to 7 feet

SPECIAL FEATURE: As of 10:00 am, Tropical Storm Cindy is located in the Gulf of Mexico and moving towards the northwest. On its current forecast track, this system poses no threat to St. Maarten.

OUTLOOK through Friday midday: Fair to partly cloudy and breezy with local showers possible.
