Prices for gasoline, diesel fuel going down Tuesday

PHILIPSBURG--The prices for unleaded gasoline and for diesel fuel will be reduced as of today, Tuesday, October 29, at 6:00am.

The Ministry of Tourism, Economic Affairs, Transport and Telecommunication (TEATT) announced the adjustment of the maximum consumer prices for these types of fuel at the pumps on Monday.

The maximum price of unleaded gasoline will be reduced by 4.7 cents from the current price of NAf. 1.968 per litre to the new price of NAf. 1.921 per litre.

The downward adjustment brings the gasoline price down to the same level as before the price increase that took effect on October 1.

The price of diesel fuel (gasoil) will also be reduced from the current price of NAf. 1.644 to the new price of NAf. 1.597, the TEATT ministry announced.
