Police want community assistance in ongoing homicide investigation

PHILIPSBURG--A man with gunshot wounds was discovered lying on the ground on the street near the emergency homes in Dutch Quarter in the early morning hours of Thursday March 21. A few days later the victim succumbed to his injuries.

  No suspects have been arrested in this case. The St. Maarten Police Force Detective Department has intensified its investigation in search of the suspect (s), but detectives are still looking for witnesses to assist with this investigation.
