Several vehicles, including this one spotted on the French side over the weekend, are still carrying old licence plates either from last year or older. Many of the vehicles traverse the roads of the French side avoiding Dutch-side roads and authorities. If caught on the Dutch side, the road tax dodger risks a fine and the towing of his/her vehicle.
