MPs to handle changes to the Civil Code today

PHILIPSBURG--Members of Parliament (MPs) will meet today, Wednesday, in their first sitting since the February 26 snap election to continue handling draft amendments to the Civil Code and some other national ordinances in connection with the replacement of the Seventh Title A of Book 7A with a new Title 10 of Book 7 regulations for employment contracts.

 

The public plenary meeting in the General Assembly Hall of Parliament House at Wilhelminastraat 1, suspended on February 9, reconvenes at 2:00pm. Public Health Minister Emil Lee, who tabled the changes on behalf of Government, will be present for the sitting.
