French Overseas Minister Annick Girardin.
MARIGOT--The French Overseas Minister Annick Girardin will be in St. Martin for an official visit this Saturday and Sunday, April 13 and 14.
The Minister’s delegation will be welcomed at Hotel de la Collectivite at 2:45pm on Saturday, to be followed at 3:00pm with a meeting with the President of the Collectivite and the Territorial Council. An update on reconstruction of the territory among other subjects will be discussed.
From 5:30pm to 6:45pm the Minister will meet with President Daniel Gibbs and Prime Minister of St. Maarten Leona Romeo-Marlin in the Préfecture where regional cooperation among other points will be discussed. The Minster’s schedule for Sunday was not disclosed.
