PHILIPSBURG--Detectives are investigating a shooting which took place on Guadeloupe Road in Madame Estate at approximately 1:45am Thursday.
A man identified as E.L. was reportedly shot in the face by an unknown person(s) while at his residence.
He was transported to St. Maarten Medical Center for treatment and remains admitted for observation in stable condition.
“No other details regarding this investigation will be released at this time due to the sensitivity of the case,” according to police on Thursday.
