ST. PETERS--A piece of wood has been confiscated by police in an investigation into an altercation that landed one man in the hospital on Friday night.
Police were alerted around 11:20pm about the incident on Lime Road in St. Peters that left one man seriously injured after he was reportedly struck with the piece of wood by a man R.G.M.
The suspected assailant was arrested by police at the site of the altercation. He remains in custody as the investigation continues.
