Lucozade quenches thirst of construction workers

Workers got a chance to enjoy the ice cold beverage during the promotion.

PHILIPSBURG--Lucozade’s promotion team visited various construction sites to treat and reward hard-working labourers on an ice cold Lucozade between February 23 and 27.

The sites visited included Princess Juliana International Airport SXM; Pelican Resort; Divi Little Bay Beach Hotel; Jordan Village Cupecoy and the Westin St. Maarten Dawn Beach Resort and Spa amongst others.

A total of 1,800 ice-cold Lucozade’s were given away during the five days that the promo team was on the road.

North Eastern Caribbean (NEC) Distribution General Manager Carl Riley said every day, when he is on the road, he sees men working tirelessly to rebuild St. Maarten, and this got to him. “I discussed this with my team and we came up with this idea.”

Lucozade and its distributor NEC said they will continue to support the rebuilding of St. Maarten.
