It has become a tight squeeze for motorists using Rhine Road in Maho on busy cruise ship days. Drivers of huge tour buses, including a double decker, have taken to parking on the road next to Royal Islander Club to let out and wait for passengers visiting the nearby beach and other attractions. Motorists going in both directions have to navigate in the narrow space left between the vehicles in the public parking spaces on one side and the buses on the other, which leaves no clearance for any emergency vehicles to pass.
