Vendors for these colourful booths on Kim Sha Beach have been selected by the Ministry of Tourism and Economic Affairs TEATT. Nineteen applications for the eight food and beverage spots and four chairs and umbrellas spots were received by the December 8 deadline. A three-member selection committee met on December 11 to review applications and submitted its recommendations to Minister Mellissa Arrindell-Doncher. She made her decision on December 14, filling the dozen spots. Successful applicants received a call on December 15 to pay the processing fee and collect their operating licences.
