Prime Minister Leona Romeo-Marlin introduced her office staff to the departments under the Ministry of General Affairs on Wednesday.
Together with Secretary-General Hensley Plantijn, she visited Civil Registry, Facility Services, Information and Record Management, Legal Affairs and Legislation, Personnel and Organization, Public Service Center, Interior and Kingdom Relations and Foreign Relations. She also visited the Fire Department. Her goal was to acquaint department managers with cabinet staff. The Prime Minister wants to see improvements in customer service from departments in direct contact with the public and overall efficiency from the other departments within the Ministry. She called for strict adherence to the limited budget resources as a result of Hurricane Irma. She is to visit the Departments of Communication DComm and Information Communication and Technology (ICT).
