Members of the Mid Isle Rotarians shopped and fill baskets with necessities and some hurricane supplies for the recent fire survivors.
In one case, people were left homeless after four homes were lost to fire; one woman lost her livelihood due to her taxi being burnt out.
As part of the help, a young mother was able to get repairs to her home. Rotary Club of St. Maarten President John Caputo accompanied Mid Isle members and introduced them to the fire survivors. The Mid Isle Club meets every Tuesday at 7:00pm at Mary’s Boon Hotel in Simpson Bay.
