Golf Association’s horse trailer stolen

PHILIPSBURG--Employees of Mullet Bay Resort and Golf Club and a member of the St. Maarten Golf Association (SMGA) discovered early Wednesday morning that SMGA’s horse trailer had been stolen.

This is a great loss to the Association, as the trailer contained numerous items used in tournaments such as the St. Maarten Open. The police have been notified of the theft and messages have been posted on social media for persons to look out for the horse trailer.

SMGA is a non-profit organisation that gathers funds to support organisations involved in social activities and sports programmes for the youth in St. Maarten, amongst other activities. For more information about SMGA, contact the Golf Shop at the Mullet Bay Golf Course.

In case anybody knows the location of the trailer, please notify the police immediately at tel. 542-2222 or 545-5500.
