ST. EUSTATIUS--Golden Rock Roman Catholic School held its annual folkloric parade on Wednesday.

Pupils, teachers and staff took to the streets and showed off their cultural wear representing the flag of St. Eustatius as well as those of various Caribbean islands.

Parade participants held banners, waved flags and danced their way through the streets to show pride for Statia in honour of the island’s national day. Even the inclement weather could not deter them as they marched through the streets. The Red Cross of St. Eustatius was present at the parade to offer aid if needed.
