Giving to kids

Early Childhood children from Hillside Christian Schools’ Asha Stevens and Helmich Snijders campuses were surprised and delighted when they unpacked their gifts last week Friday.

The toys were donated by Katina Hogan Stevens, who lives and works in Orlando, Florida. She is a corporate trainer for new employees at Spectrum Business. She recently started a company called Train with Purpose and together with her team decided to do something special for the children of both schools. Katina is no stranger to the island; she visits her father Jack Stevens and stepmom Asha Stevens often. She followed the news about the devastation that Irma caused and decided to do something special.
