Giving thanks

As a sign of good will and appreciation, the Ministry of Education, Culture, Youth and Sport (ECYS) and the Charlotte Brookson Academy (CBA) for the Performance Arts board thanked the Marines, GENIE representatives and Intertent for their hard work in erecting the pavilions that will be used as mobile classrooms for several hurricane-ravaged schools. A small thanksgiving ceremony was held to thank the men who assisted with the work. Minister of Education Silveria Jacobs thanked them all for all their hard work to realise the goal of starting school on October 2. Jacobs also thanked the Fire Department, Police Force, Urgent Search and Rescue (USAR) Netherlands and all other stakeholders who were and still are instrumental in the post-Irma clean-up.
