Recently appointed Honorary Consul of Guyana to St. Maarten Cleveland Beresford paid a courtesy visit to Prime Minister William Marlin. Beresford is the first honorary consul for Guyana to be stationed here. He is the point person for all consular issues and cooperation between St. Maarten and Guyana. Beresford also held introductory meetings with the Department of Foreign Relations on his rights and privileges and areas of mutual interest.
