Extension granted for filing, payment of wage tax, ToT, AOV/AWW, AVBZ

PHILIPSBURG--The Inspectorate of Taxes has granted an extension on the filing and payment of several taxes as a result of the current lockdown to stem the spread of the coronavirus COVID-19 outbreak and based on Article 9 paragraph 1, of the Algemene Landverordening Landsbelastingen (ALL).

The Inspectorate says taxpayers will automatically be granted a postponement for the filing and payment of the March 2020 Wage and Turnover Tax (ToT), AOV/AWW and AVBZ premiums. As a result of the extension, the April 15, 2020 due date has been postponed to May 4, 2020. Taxpayers are urged to still pay on time if they are in a position to do so using online banking.

As was previously announced, the 2019 provisional profit tax return (filing and payment) has also been postponed from March 31, to June 30. The filing of income tax return has also been extended from May 31, to August 31.
